Last time, in the first part of our Ruff-fresh your Cruiser series, we have presented you the best tips and tricks on how to get your bike ready for the season with the help of gentle basic cleaning and care.

Today we dedicate ourselves to the tyres and wheels of your Ruff bike and show you the differences of our Ruff-tires to help you to find out which tyre is the best one for your cruiser. If you are interested in a pair of new wheels, we have something for you as well.

Good to know – Ruff-tyre differences

Tyre Ruffer V2 26″ x 3.0

This is the Version 2 of our Ruffer Tyre! For all those who had problems getting the Version 1 on the Rim, this is the solution. No worries this one will just jump on the Rim without any swearing, sweat and ripping the shed apart in anger.

The Ruffer V2 is a lightweight Tyre with a unique tyretread. Tested on 65mm, 80mm and 100mm Rims without problems but should also work on other dimensions.

Tires Balloon 26″x3.0

The Version 2 of our Balloon Tyre! The new Version is easy to apply to the rim and comes with a subtle lettering on the side which is just embossed and not printed. The Balloon Tyre V2 is a lightweight Tyre with a unique tyretread. Tested on 65mm, 80mm and 100mm Rims without problems but should also work on other dimensions.Tyre details:

New hot wheels

To ruff-fresh the look of your cruiser, new wheels might be an option too.

We can offer you some red, black or classic silver wheels. In combination with some of our awesome Ruffer-tyres your cruiser will look really good, we promise!

Think about changing the inner tube as well. This might be necessary if the tube is already pretty old or in case that you had some issues and fixed the tube with a tape ;-). Use the opportunity when you change the wheels.
